Skelex 360

Combining All Forces To Refine A Product

To design an intuitive load reducing exoskeleton with a perfect fit, we further developed the basic idea using a Frankenstein mechanical model, applying an integrated approach which encompassed design, engineering and soft-goods disciplines. This method enabled a fast development process, in which we continuously validated ideas through prototyping to optimise the design for use. Within a short timeframe we enabled Skelex to start sales and continue their business.

360 Degrees Of Motion Without Any Hassle

The harness is comprised of two parts: a lightweight carbon frame that delivers the force, and a separated soft-goods part that has close contact with the body. This combination allows users to easily adjust the harness to their body and permits 360 degrees of motion without any hassle. The result is an optimized product that stands out among its competitors, not only by its practical capabilities but also with its looks.

Nexperia

Looking good attracts the eyes, personality attracts the heart

To get an NXP-company spin off onto the market and immediately attract people, we had to explore competitive markets and make its character striking enough to fill the gaps. This has created an outstanding appearance that’s not only appealing to its customers but also allows any creative agency to take the brand to the next level in the future.

We therefore created a strong visual DNA to guide all external and internal communication. Stylized typography and strong colours make the brand stand out in its competitive landscape. The marked ‘X’ emphasis the hidden word ‘expert’ in ‘Nexperia’ and is recognizable from product to building. Developed from an efficient process that mapped everything and forced decisions to build a strong, future-proof brand from the very beginning.

The gap between soap bars and liquid soap seemed to be colossal, both in terms of price and culture. We had to consider cultural behaviour and personal hygiene as well as the right price points and cost price to create something effective. This in the knowledge that the target audience doesn’t want to waste a drop of soap and is more willing to buy products that they can completely use up.

The only limit that exists is the one in your mind

We found out that lowering costs was the outcome (not the starting point) for making a difference. To achieve this we -for example- curved every surface of the bottle, so less material is needed. We designed the cap so that it can be easily squeezed without spilling,  turning it upside down to use the entire content to the last drop. We also reconsidered the labelling method so that it can be easily produced locally and thus promote employment. And we did all this without sacrificing the brand value that good hygiene must be accessible to everyone.

Wings for Aid

A project of this size requires a holistic view on all the topics involved; from technical opportunities to the box itself that contains the supplies. Asking ourselves a lot of questions: How will this drone reach its destination? How will it hold the package? How will we train the pilot? How can we manage the logistics? Finding temporary solutions for testing and improvement. Giving advice on how this drone should be designed.

We’re not from the aviation industry, but we can offer surprising insights and ideas. Like, for example, making the cargo bay out of PET-G that is used in blister packs: cheap and transparent so we can see what’s happening during testing. Developing a security system that prevents the boxes from falling when they are not yet supposed to be dropped. Adding a manual possibility to drop the supplies in emergencies. In short, realizing a wild idea step by step to make it come true.

Together we can make the world a better place

The difference between two markets is your ability to adapt

When charging a car, US residents use a fixed cable charger without having the benefit of proper cable management. We also had to consider the fact that everything is bigger in the US, resulting in the challenge that the charger had to be visible and accessible enough in a parking lot with many SUVs.

We came up with a smart charging unit capable of charging two vehicles simultaneously while offering a smooth user experience through an intuitive interface as well as an integrated cable management system. Easy to install and maintain and -of course- with a striking design.

Dorel Juvenile – Maxi-Cosi Titan Pro

In order to design a car seat that can easily be adapted to regional rules and legislation, we had to focus on a basic body that could be adjusted for use in different countries. It can therefore be produced on a larger scale to lower the cost price. By working in sprints, we were able to quickly validate and test ideas or come up with new insights to expand the Maxi-Cosi market.

A good basis gives you endless options

The result is a basic car seat that is as safe as possible for children aged 9 months up to a maximum of 12 years (depending on the child’s height). The Maxi-Cosi Titan Pro uses g-cell panels as protection to better absorb the energy released during an accident. And without losing its soft and friendly nature; all safety precautions are visible from the outside. Easy installation for parents and their growing children.
